Support our CILs-Participate in the survey

Florida CIL Survey

The Florida Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and University of Florida Researchers are seeking

adults with disability who receive services from a Florida CIL to participate in a survey for a research

study (IRB202202129). The purpose of this research study is to improve knowledge that may help the

Florida CILs to identify needs and resource gaps that people with disabilities may have experienced

during the COVID-19 era. CILs are consumer-driven, non-profit organizations who support community

living and independence for people with disabilities based on the belief that all people can live with

dignity, make their own choices, and participate fully in society. CILs provide tools and supports for

integrating people with disabilities fully into their communities. CILs serve all disabilities and all ages in

every county in Florida. When taking this survey, you are welcome to discuss your experiences as you

feel comfortable. Your answers will not be shared with your CIL representative or other people at your

CIL location, and all research study data will be kept confidential.

While you are not required to participate in this survey, we hope that you will contribute a small portion

of your valuable time to further our understanding of your needs during the COVID-19 era. Thank you for

your interest in our research study.
